Ken Meccia, has led Statewide’s marketing and sales division since 1981. Under his management, the company has expanded from its beginnings in Westchester County to serving clients throughout the tri-state area, as well as, nationwide. Ken also heads up the Manhattan office, which has seen considerable growth within the past two years. He is an active member on the Development Board of Hudson Valley Bank and is also a member of The New York Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Westchester County Board of Realtors. Ken served for two years on the White Plains Zoning Board of Appeals and is a licensed real estate agent.

Jim Meccia’s career in the title industry began in 1957 and included various executive positions with major Title Insurance Companies in both New York and New Jersey. Jim has worked extensively with some of the top developers, law firms and lenders throughout his many years in the industry. In 1979, he founded Statewide Abstract Corp in an effort to provide the legal, financial and real estate communities with sufficient title insurance protection. Today, he is still actively involved with Statewide which is now run by his two sons Alan Meccia, CEO and Kenneth Meccia, President.

Mitch spent his early years in managing Statewide’s Poughkeepsie office before becoming the Sr. Vice President of the Production/Operations Department in the White Plains office. His extensive background includes service on the Zoning Board of Appeals and Trustee for the Village of Wappingers Falls, as well as 10 years of service for the town of Poughkeepsie South Baseball and Hockey League. He specializes in problematic title issues both commercially and residentially.

Stephen M. Spedaliere has been counsel at Statewide Abstract Corp. since 2005. Prior to becoming in house counsel, Stephen was a sole practitioner in White Plains. Stephen is a 1999 graduate of Pace University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
Stephen’s experience in the title industry began in 1998 with First American Title Insurance Company of New York in White Plains. From there he joined the law firm of Jason & Nesson, L.L.P. in Rockland County. Stephen brings his extensive experience and knowledge as a practicing real estate attorney to the company. With this experience, he is able to focus both on the legal and title issues to ensure that all of Statewide’s real estate transactions close with the utmost professionalism.

Richard Krasner began his career at Statewide Abstract in September, 1992. During his career at Statewide, he has built an extensive client base of attorneys, lenders, realtors, and developers throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City. Rick enjoys entertaining and networking with clients on the golf course. He has been involved with Business Network International since 1998 as a member and Chapter President. He is an active member of the Young Mortgage Bankers Association and the B’Nai Brith Real Estate Group. Rick lives in Scarsdale with his wife Robin and daughter Kimberly.

Karinta began her title insurance career with Statewide in 1998, where she managed the day to day operations. After working for a developer, obtaining her Real Estate license, and managing a bank branch in Mount Kisco, title insurance was a natural fit.
She’s loyal to her clients, committed to excellence in service, and attributes her success to strategic networking. She is active member in PNW, Westchester County Board of Realtors, Westchester County Bar Association and participates actively in fundraising for the troops.

Mark Okamoto has recently joined Statewide Abstract and brings a wealth of knowledge from his prior sales experience (and Former PGA Golf Professional and retail store owner of Larry’s Golf in Scarsdale) to his position as Director of Sales. Prior to his entry into the title field, Mark has worked in real estate since 2005 and, prior to joining Statewide Abstract, was a consistent top producer in both commercial and residential real estate sales at one of Westchester’s top real estate firms. Having been a Realtor, Mark understands the demands of practicing real estate and brings an extensive knowledge of proven strategies to succeed in a perpetually shifting market. He has formed hundreds of lasting relationships with both real estate professionals, attorneys, investors, developers, mortgage brokers as well as with his real estate customers and clients. Mark is committed to supporting his clients’ endeavors while ensuring he and his team provides the highest level of professionalism and service in the industry.

Mari Anastos brings her twenty years of experience as a legal assistant in the title industry to her new role of Account Executive at Statewide in their White Plains office. “Unlike many AEs in the business Mari’s first-hand knowledge ensures she understands every aspect of the title process and can get involved at any level to guarantee the transaction moves smoothly and swiftly to closing,” states Kenneth Meccia, President of Statewide.
Anastos has relationships with realtors, attorneys and mortgage brokers and bankers throughout the tri-state area and brings a unique understanding of the team process required to close deals in today’s fast-paced real estate environment. Having experience with both simple residential deals and complex commercial transactions provides her with a depth of experience that will benefit Statewide Abstract clients.

A graduate of Lincoln College, Michael Meccia previously worked at Honda in White Plains for three years and held the position of top salesperson in his last two years there. By joining Statewide he follows in his grandfather’s, Uncle’s and Father’s footsteps.
Like his colleagues, he will complete the National Board of Realtors training course to deepen his knowledge of the industry. He is a member of the Young Mortgage Banker’s Association and will join the White Plains Bar and Banker’s associations and will complete his Notary licensing this summer. In his spare time, Meccia plays golf, enjoys trap shooting with his father and is an avid tennis player.

As an Account Manager in the Manhattan office, Gibson is an asset to the Statewide Abstract team. office. Kinloch grew up in Darien, Connecticut and is a graduate of the University of Vermont. He began his career trading corporate bonds in the financial industry in 1999. After successfully navigating the market and serving institutional clients through a plethora of dynamic economic changes, he transferred his skills and focus to risk mitigation where he has spent the past four years. His accomplishments in finance and risk management make him an ideal sales executive for the title business.

Mary Anne has been part of the Statewide team for over 16 years in the Legal Department. Prior to joining Statewide, she spent 10+ years working for two national underwriters – First American and Ticor Title. Before starting in the title industry, Mary Anne spent 13 years in banking as an operations officer and assistant manager.
